Here at Hand on Heart, we pride ourselves on creating handmade pieces of jewellery to capture your most precious moments and what can be more special than your big day? We recently caught up with Fiona who got married at Huntshill Farm in Buckinghamshire earlier this year to find out more about the unique Hand on Heart Jewellery which she gifted to her Husband and Dad as keepsakes of her wedding day.
Fiona and her Husband actually met when they were at school together but didn't start their relationship until they got back in touch around 6 years ago and after speaking to her, it sounds like they were fated to be together.
We spoke about how Fiona and her family first discovered Hand on Heart Jewellery and the personalised keepsakes which she chose to include in her wedding celebrations.
"I came across Hand on Heart after my daughter was born when I was looking for a piece of jewellery with her fingerprint as a keepsake. My husband actually bought me a bracelet for mothers day with her print, name and date of birth which then gave me the idea to get the cufflinks for the wedding day as a keepsake for both my Husband & my Dad"
Fiona put a lot of thought into the design of the cufflinks and wanted to make sure that they could include the family members who couldn't be there on the day itself. She said "Being part of the family too, but not being with us, I thought to get the dogs prints on one side of my Husbands, along with our daughters and our initials and wedding date in the other. My Dad’s cufflinks had my finger print and the wedding date as a memory of when his youngest daughter was married."
It's an honour to be chosen to create any keepsake but there is something truly special about knowing a piece Hand on Heart Jewellery has been a treasured part of someones Wedding Day and we would like to thank Fiona for telling us her story.
